Not in most cases - your standard LGV licence covers the driving side, but crane operation is a separate skill that requires accredited training. A HIAB training certificate proves you’re competent and compliant with LOLER (Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations) and PUWER (Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations).
